Once you get into beta, you can download the entire game (about 3GB) and jump right in. Now, before you stop listening as soon as you hear “free-to-play”, there’s something you should know – This game is incredible. PoE is a free-to-play action RPG modeled after the hugely popular Diablo series. They definitely don’t have Blizzard’s advertising budget. The game is being made by a small developer based in New Zealand. Why, you ask? You’ve never heard of Path of Exile? That’s understandable.
